Build a Stick Chair -5 Days
Building your own chair is a very satisfying project because once completed, you can sit back in it and relax with your favourite drink. In this class you will build a stick chair using tried-and-tested wedged tenon and mortice joinery. You will use mostly hand tools and a few power tools to make the chair.
Important note: While not absolutely necessary, some woodworking experience is an asset to do this class. If in doubt, I recommend that you first take my 3 Legged Stool class.
Duration 5 days (9am to 5pm with one hour lunch break)
Registration: To register to this class select the dates, clic add to cart, enter your information and make your payment. Cancellations with a full refund will be accepted up until four weeks before the class. Within four weeks of the start of the class, a refund will be provided only if the spot can be filled. For this class, the materials (approximately $200 for red oak) will be charge separately. Since the price of lumber varies constantly, the cost of the wood will be calculated the week prior to the beginning of the class and payable on the first day of class.
